Arrival Instructions Portugal
Portugal lies in the Southwest of the Iberian Peninsula bordered from North to South by the Atlantic Ocean, with its 800 km of coastline.
The city is blessed by a sheer variety of beautiful landscaping and all year round, perfect mild climate, golden sandy beaches and excellent food and wines, not forgetting the warmth and charm of its people.
Portugal, with its medieval walled cities, ancient castles, palaces and old monuments, combined with the excitement and sophistication of the modern world, is definitely one of the most exotic and perfect destinations for congresses and conferences.

Arrival in Lisbon
By Air
Lisbon is just a few hours (2 to 3 hours) away from most European cities and 6 to 8 hours away from North America. Lisbon’s international airport is only 7 km away from the city centre.
The quickest way of getting to the city centre is by underground transportation.
You can take the metro at the airport, destined to S. Sebastião. The closest metro station to the conference venue is ‘S. Sebastião’ (red/blue line).
Taxis are available 24-hours a day. The journey time to the city centre lasts approximately 15 minutes and costs around 10 euros.
Another way of getting from the airport to the city centre is by bus. The AeroBus departs from the airport every 20 minutes (from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm) to the city centre (journey time: 20 minutes) and stops at Cais do Sodré, the railway station.
